New Haven Youth Soccer is a nonprofit, volunteer run organization committed to the promotion and advancement of youth soccer in New Haven Connecticut. We provide a place for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade to learn the game of soccer and to have fun. 

Children of all ages meet friends from across our diverse and lively city; we are a multicultural, integrated organization that welcomes everyone. Financial aid is available for children and families who cannot cover the full registration fee.  If you have any questions about registering please email [email protected] prior to completing your registration form and paying any fee.

Programs Offered

The In House Recreation League is for children ages 4 to 12.  Recreational soccer is fun, relaxed, and a solid introduction to soccer skills. The program is priced to encourage all children to play, and financial aid is available for families that qualify. 

The Middle School League is a unique opportunity for middle school children from grades 5 through 8. Many of the teams represent local middle schools, and NHYS has one team organized for children whose middle schools do not have an organized team. The league is co-ed, and games are held on Saturdays with practices being held once a week during the week.

The Travel Recreation League is a league designed for kids who wish to have the experience of travel soccer, just at a more low key pace. Teams are usually chosen through an evaluation, and they practice once a week with games played throughout New Haven County on weekends.  There are no cuts from Travel Recreation and all players are guaranteed to play half a game as long as they abide by the coach's attendance guidelines.

The Travel Competitive League is a competitive league designed for experienced kids. Teams are usually chosen through a try-out in the spring and they practice twice a week with games played throughout New Haven County on weekends.  Playing time is determined by the coach.
